Great location with plenty of dining options nearby! The staff were friendly and helpful, and I loved the complimentary cookies at reception. My room was clean, though the air conditioning was a bit noisy. A perfect spot for a comfortable stay while exploring the area!

I had a lovely Christmas stay! The location is fantastic, right near loads of eateries and just a short walk to the beach. The bed was super comfy, and I really appreciated the microwave and fridge to keep my snacks handy. Plus, the pool area looked inviting, perfect for a chill day!
I did notice some wear and tear in the room, like old marks in the bathroom and an outdated TV that didn’t work well. The cleaning could have been better too — I spotted some dust and grime in places. it felt like the room needed some TLC for the price I paid.

Low budget hotel with a first-class service. Decent size and newly renovated room with a balcony and reasonably priced. Pleasant staff, marvellous and unbeatable location near to restaurants and the stadium as well as the Victoria Bridge. Nearby The Australian Property - great place to chill out.

the location was perfect, with easy access to fine dining and nightlife. the buffet breakfast offered a great variety, although some hot items could have been warmer. our room had a comfortable bed, contributing to a restful night, and despite a few signs of age, we found it overall enjoyable and clean.
Was all great! 😅 but could use some updates.

Easy access, close to everything. $15 breakfast very reasonable.
The excessive cost over the v8 weekend. I know its wide spread over the whole town but accommodation is very expensive. I go to every round of the v8'S. Townsville & Adelaide both escalate accom prices for the weekend.

Good front desk service and Restaurant. Great location. Undercover parking
The television was an outdated analogue set with poor reception. The coffee cups are tiny there were no mugs. The cleaners trolley sat in the same place in the hallway outside the room for over two hours

Position of the hotel is brilliant, resturant downstairs is very good with great service. The reason I booked the hotel was because of a previous business partners recommendation.

The location of the hotel was good, with a variety of places to eat and drink nearby. The free parking was secured at night, which was great.
The room was outdated - think tragic 1970's tropical look - and the lift smelled like a nursing home cleaning liquid had been used aplenty. Then there's the fridge - old, battered and need of defrosting (I have no idea what the house-keeping/management are doing). And then we got hammered for a credit card surcharge just to top it all off. Not a good experience - which sadly seems to be par for the course for Rydges hotels...
